The following are cameos, fanart, and other projects I have worked on, mostly with the drunkduck community.
For my big landmarks, like my 100th and 200th comic, I whipped up a “cameo-palooza”, cramming as many fellow drunkduckers’ characters as I could into one update. This is a very typical expression of gratitude for devout readers, in the DD community, which is why I adore that site so much.
The cameos are from an ongoing contest I called “Putting Words in Their Mouths”. Readers were asked to “fill in the bubbles” with their own captions of an open comic I drew, and I choose the funniest or best entry. The winner received a “cameo” in my next update- their character right along side Z&F!
Mixed in is some various fanart I did for webcomics I admire.
Also included are 2 “Remixes” which is also a drunkduck community project called “Comic Remix”. Drunkduck members sign up in advance, and much like “Secret Santa”, they are matched up anonymously with others who signed up. Each entrant redraws a comic from the creator assigned to them, and all the “remixes” are posted at the end. I signed up twice for this project, it was a lot of fun!
