Most definitely a trigger term in this house. My lab is crazy smart, so there’s a ton of them. Love the wildly wagging tail. Great strip!
I have a Lab myself.. with a touch of Rottie. She is very smart… knows almost 15 commands! But I can’t seem to teach her a couple: rollover, or speak. Thanks Chris, glad you liked it!
Great job Dawn, I love how you’ve included the Weird Kid, Baseball, and the over zealous love of a dog to go for a walk. I also love how he headed straight for Zorphbert to take him on the walk. Love how the weird kid’s headphones are cock eyed, great touch.
By the way did the Weird Kid’s name ever get established, for some reason I can’t think of it if it did. I always feel bad referring to him as “The Weird Kid”.
This is my dog 100%. Every night I tell him before we say goodnight to him that we’re gonna go walk in the morning. Some mornings unfortunately those plans don’t come together, and if he misses his walk in the morning I feel for the first one who opens the back door in the afternoon cause he bursts in and immediately heads to his leash knocking everyone and everything out of his way.
I play a game with my pug. Crouching down, I put my lips up to his little black ear and whisper: “wanna” and before I even get “go walkie, walkies” out he’s already doing his circle dance, hopping around SO excited. I don’t even have to hold the leash, he knows what’s coming. Getting him outside is easy enough, it’s moving him along that’s the hard part (he wants to sniff and pee on everything!) Hahaha! He looks almost exactly like my parents new dog. They’re having quite a time trying to get him acclimated to the family, but he just wants to have fun. 😀
